Education Experience:Shereceived bachelor in Animal Physiology from Inner Mongolia University 1982,andreceived master degree and PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from Shanxi Normal Universityin 1994 and 1997 respectively.

Work Experience:During 1999 and 2005, She was theheadof the Biology Department and the leader in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Shantou University. Since 2005and 2012, shehas beenaprofessor (Level 3)andwas the director Department of Food Science and Bioengineeringand the leader in the direction of biochemicalinGuangdong University of Technology.

Achievements in Scientific Research:

Her researchfocuses on antithrombotic, anti-cancer and anti-bacterial effects and mechanism of active substances and bioactive proteins of traditional Chinese medicine. It includesbasic and applied studies on cell culture,apoptosis,telomerase detection,biochemical immune analysis, and gene expressionandregulation of active protein.She has published over 90 research papers in refereed international journals and conferences (10 more indexed by SCI and 5 indexed by EI). She also published two books and obtained four patents.

She has completed more than 10 scientific research projects, including three the National Natural Science Foundation and two provincial natural scienceFoundation.

She has been successfully supervised more than 10 PhD students, 30 master students, and 3 post-doc.
